    Transmission - Either of the options are great, Ford did an excellent job w/ the 5spd AUtomatic. Cool thing is, if you plan on Turbo'ing the car I'd lean towards an auto. Seems the S197's equipped w/ turbos love the automatic! As far as the other options it all boils down to what you like...

    It's unfortunately a little awkward if I want to use them at the spur of the moment (like where I really shouldn't be using it in the first place) but if it's @ the track and during staging it's just fine I think. If I didn't have the buttons for the info center, I'd pop out the dead buttons...

    Open your center console. Look to the left of the coin holders. The panel is directly behind the e-brake.

    Yeah losing the cupholders sucks, especially since there is NOWHERE to put anything else. I use the small holder for my cellphone and other stuff.
