    Nitrous guys

I can't say that I've sprayed my car YET but my Wilson Pro Flow kit is on the way :) I'll be running a 100 shot, backing off a few degrees of timing and running colder plugs. Any higher than 100 shot you'll want to upgrade your fuel system and likely get a dyno tune tailored to your shot.

What gears for a 08 GT

    FYI with 4.10's, cruising on I-95 @ 70MPH I'm @ 2500 RPM

    Name this part:

Not to mention you'd lose back-pressure, likely causing a loss in power. Ford did a great job with the exhaust on the S197, best to just toss on a mid-pipe and stick with stock mufflers (if you're content with their sound)

    New ET Streets on :)

Nope, just have some hookups. :) They were purchased by someone before me and they left a deposit. They never picked them up so I swooped in and took em'. :p They hook so well though!!! I just wish my clutch wasn't on it's last leg. :(

    New ET Streets on :)

Pre 4.10's I was running mid 13's Post 4.10's I've been running consistent 12.8's Don't waste your time with 3.73's. 4.10's are definitely the way to go however you don't need them to get good times. I know of a few local S197's that run high 12's with the 3.55 gears!!!! It definitely...

    New ET Streets on :)

I try not to put miles on my track tires but without a trailer or a truck to store a jack and street wheels in I have to drive on these sometimes. They're pretty stable as long as you're above 20 PSI. I didn't take these pictures, my buddy did and I know he doesn't have Photoshop so not sure.

    New ET Streets on :)

Pulled the stickers off and got em' mounted yesterday then a nice trip to the track. Unfortunately, I found out that the clutch is pretty much done. I would stage, get my revs up to 5K and the car would creep forward :( I'd then need to re-stage, get the revs up fast and dump the clutch. The car...

    Clutch Choice

Getting a new clutch sometime this week and I'm looking at different brands. The top right now is the Fidanza 2.1 but I'm unsure if I should step it up a bit since I'll be spraying :) Some things to keep in mind: • The car is my daily driver but will still see the track often • I don't...

    Low Cost Mods...

Intake + Tune should be #1 followed by gears and some sticky tires. The best cheap mod you can do is called the driver mod ;)

    New car, new exhaust!!

Check out my setup, it's not overly droney and has a very nice deep tone to it. Definitely not the loudest sounding S197 but in many people's opinion it's one of the best sounding ;) http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=733206

    LS guys talking crap

+1. That's like comparing apples to oranges. The LSX motors are pretty far ahead in the technology totem pole when compared to the 5.0's. They really shouldn't be wasting their time bragging about how they can beat a "stock" 5.0. Either way, they still drive F-Bodys ;)

    New Exhaust Clips!

As requested like 2 months ago...some new exhaust clips. I had 3 viewpoints taken. If you'd like to hear the idle revs visit my Youtube page. As always feedback is welcome. Setup: Steeda Axle-Back, Pypes Off-Road H-Pipe

Want to go fast without supercharger

Depends how fast you want to go and how much drivability you're willing to sacrifice! An Intake and an aggressive tune should be numero uno and 4.10's should follow. Those mods + Pulleys, CMDP's, Mid-Pipe and some sticky tires will easily net you mid-high 12's if you've got the driver mod. I...
