    it was done in an SN95 car so I dont see why it couldnt be done in the 05. The new 3v v10 makes something like 362hp and 420or 440 ft/lbs.

    ive sat in a GTO and its got a nice interior. Its better than pretty much every other pontiac/gmc/chevy but I dont think its up to snuff with BMW, Benz, Audi or Jag (all of which I have spent a lot of seat time in). You could compare it to the new f-150 lariet or something if you would like...

    I would try and get a new one because this may show up on a carfax report and effect resale value later if someone checks the numbers. It may or may not be possible though.

    i honestly dont think a classic that needs work is a good investment for someone in college. Anything is possible financially but your plans arent exactly cheap considering the kind of work northern cars usually need.
