Desperate for 12's, Eaton, axles, LCA's all on

LCA's make a big change in the way these cars hook. I think you'll see that in your 60 ft times and hopefully in you 1/4 times. As for the ride height...I had that happen on my 88 LX. The stock bushings had actually sagged a little I think and let the car settle around them. So the new...

    Dyno Numbers Finally

I think that would be a good economical start but don't simply port match the lower. Have the entire lower ported and port matched.

    Dyno Numbers Finally

I agree that there is more power in an intake swap I don't think that your intake is at the limit of the power that it can make. Cobra intakes can make 280 RWHP without really sweating. 300 RWHP is possible but at that range it's getting a bit harder. 320+ is possible but the intake would be...

Vortech Super Charger in a 94 Convertible?

Vortech's will fit just fine in your car. And stay away from the Ford SC. They are just Powerdyne blowers with Ford labels. Powerdyne blowers don't make much power and are unreliable compared to Vortech blowers.

A few questions about rocker arms

Spend your money somewhere else. Stock E7 valve springs don't like the added ratio and weight of 1.7 rockers. You will most likely not gain any or loose a bit of power with the 1.7's. In theory they are great but reality is a much different game.

    P-Head review

Sweet...so you got it back on the dyno with some additional tuning since the 257 pull? Looks like a 20 HP and 20 TQ gain, well done!

Car falling on face after install of mods

Car falling on face after install of mods

A few things to check... Did you pull the spout connector out to set the timing? You should. Can you read the timing at all? I'm thinking that you may just have the dizzy in a bit off from where it needs to be. IF the timing is correct than a vacuum leak would be my next guess from...

    which cam

Actually...the 2031 is one of the few aftermarket cams that you WILL most likely need new pushrods with. Cobra's MIGHT get away with the stock ones but many people who use that cam have run into pushrod issues.

    Cam question

I agree and feel that your car will be slower with a cam and the stock converter than with the stock cam. I'd spend money on a good converter first. You should see a .4-.5 second drop in ET's from a good converter.

How much boost on stock block w/strim.

Again, You should not need a smaller pulley than the 3.33 with a 7.25" crank pulley to see 13psi. If you are not seeing 13# now than something is not right. The addition of a smaller pulley might actually create more problems either now or down the road.

    GT-40 Head/Intake/Cam help

I would not port the heads. By the time you spend the extra $$$ on port work and fresh parts to do it right and the cost of the heads you could pretty well have purchased some aftermarket heads. The port work certainly helps make power but it doesn't balance out $ for $. Also, I'd leave the...

How much boost on stock block w/strim.

With a 7.25" crank pulley and a 3.33 blower pulley you should see 13+ psi with the S-trim. You shouldn't need a smaller pulley to see those boost levels.

    PMS users...come in.....

yep, the older ones have a hard time tranfering from EEC control to Stand Alone and have a "spike" around 4k when that happens. The new ones are much better with that.

How high can u safely rev a stock shortblock with a h/c/i?

Back when I was taking my car to open track road race events I would spin it well past 6K constantly with the stock shortblock. I shift the car at 6400 and would often over rev intentionally to avoid a mid corner shift. I would go 67-6800 very often. And if you check around you'll find that...

    Most RWHP in a 302 N/A

Although the NMRA cars are very impressive I would not consider them to fall into this catagory. There is a bunch of good info you can get from them and use it on a stock 302 but I wouldn't really try to compare them in all fairness.

First dyno numbers for GT40 setup

I think those numbers are good for your car. They are on par with other similiar combos. Lean it out some and you may find a few more ponies too.
