    MS3 Pro

Yes, I noticed. I haven't gotten the car running, and what I have is already obsolete. They told me other than the internal wideband there really aren't any functional differences. It just makes installing it easier. I am running two wide bands on mine, so I would still need to run another...

    MS3 Pro

Yes, Steve was there. He was either very impressed or partially dismayed that I printed out the entire set of directions and put them in a 1/2" binder with tabs to common references like pin outs. Ben had it all worked out in about 3 minutes, set my injectors for me, programmed the widebands...

    MS3 Pro

Update, I drove down to diyautotune today to have them look at my setup on TunerStudio. Some genius had downloaded the wrong firmware. Car fired right up. Kurt

    MS3 Pro

Is this it? There is a file in there called "current tune."

    MS3 Pro

Possibly. I need to figure out how to do that first. Thanks for your help. I need to set up the instrument cluster. I have also been told I need to check something called a tooth logger. Kurt

    MS3 Pro

I have whatever tune came with the box minus those 2 changes. I wasn't expecting it to run well, but I thought it would at least pop off. I also have the optional flex fuel sensor which I haven't had time to setup. Maybe I need to do that too. It's a 347 engine that makes about 425hp with a...

    MS3 Pro

Fuel pump primed. I set the base timing at 11 before I took the old computer out. I did a few things before attempting a start. I went into general settings to adjust for 30lb injectors using the calculator. I have 2 AMP wideband controllers at Can 80 and Can 81. I followed the instructions...

    Autolite closing

I always ask chatgpt "where did you find this?" I often get a dubious answer. Kurt

    Autolite closing

I heard that a long time ago. People don't like the Autolites, because the ground strap doesn't melt away when it gets too hot. The NGKs act like a fuse. Kurt

    Autolite closing

I love it when someone else does all the work for me. I probably should change the plugs before I take my car in for the tune. I have found chatgpt to give dubious information at times. It's reading all the misinformation people put on forums, and presents it as a fact. When I was a parts...

    Autolite closing

Ah :poo:. My 3924s are like 10 years old. I didn't get the memo. Maybe I need to hike it down to O'Reilly's and stock up too. What is it, an NGK TR5 that replaces the 3924? It's been so long since I looked it up. Kurt

    SN95 Smog Pump delete pulley

I think I have the UPR pulley too. My friend bought one from the beginning, and I think he got a good 20 years out of it. Probably 80,000 miles or so if I had to guess. It did eventually go bad, but it didn't fail in a way that was catastrophic. It definitely made obvious noises for a period...

    SN95 Smog Pump delete pulley

You can short route the belt on an SN, but it doesn't work as well as having a delete pulley. The angle of the belt on the tensioner causes it to jump around a lot. I ran it the short route for a long time before I gave in and put a delete pulley on. Kurt

    Enclosed car hauler

I just purchased a 20' enclosed Titanium Cargo trailer from Boss Cargo in Douglas, GA back in November. You save a lot of money driving to the source and paying cash. I got it for around $10,500 with tax. Titanium is the only company I found that offers the 5200lb axles on a 20ft. They also...
