    my car has spent everyday outside. i am even at 7200 feet and the UV index is off the charts during most of the year. still no problems. maybe you got a bad knob. :shrug:

    also, specific engine used for the swap will depend on what needs to be fabricated. a 5.0 swap would be different from a chevy LSx swap for example. same thing for a 4V swap or V10.

    the S197 motor mounts are not the same as previous generations, so if by cobra swap you mean 4V motor, then you would need adapters to be able to get the motor in there. also, you will need some form of engine management. if you can get the stock computer from the donor car, then you can run...
