When The 2005 Comes Out...Do you Think?

Rumor has it that Ford's Mustang supply is running low and they may run out of cars this summer. If that is true, then prices should remain about the same as they are now.

    05 Mustang, the next classic?

Try looking for a 65 Mustang Convertable or Fastback..... They're pretty pricey, even when they look like swiss cheese. Then add a K-code engine and 4 speed. If you found one for under 20k that wasn't totally trashed, I'd be impressed. Even 6 bangers age getting more expensive. People are...

    05 Mustang, the next classic?

I don't want to sound like an arse, but there were 680,989 1965 Mustangs produced (late and early models, early models while sold in 64 all were all 65 models), and over 1 million Mustangs in the first two years. How is it that the "mass produced" '05, that may only sell 180k units, will be much...

    Some more 05 Pics

I was there around 12:00 on the last Saturday (20th?) the show was open. I hit it at the right time. There was no one hanging around the display. The car also sat right next to the GT which pulled some attention away from the Mustang. I went again later on in the show to see it one last time...

From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

I thought a Cobra coupe cost 35k? You mean to tell me the spoiler is an extra 6g? Or are you talking about a Cobra with Mystichrome paint, which would add 6k to any car?

From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

That all depends on how much Ford will sell the next Cobra for. For example, if Ford is able to deliver a near 500 hp Cobra under 40k, the Camaro is toast. However, if Ford sells the new cobra for 45k, and doesn't have a model that is near 400 hp for the same price, the Camaro will sell. In...

    Orders delayed until Dec.???

Take this for what it's worth (were talking about car salesman here), but I talked to a Ford Rep at an auto show today and he said they would start taking orders May 17. I don't trust car salesman or anyone else in the car business. Most don't even know what they are talking about. Until I...

From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

I'm not so sure the styling is why "retro" cars fail. Name me one retro car that actually delivers. The Prowler was sweet but had a V6, the PT is just a Neon with Neon performance, the T-Bird didn't deliver anything but looks and the Beetle is way overpriced for what you get. Now image if the...

    CNBC Reports 05 Under 20000 w/ 300HP

Whats the difference between a the current GT's and the V6 suspension? Maybe different springs and and sway bars? It's not like Ford hasn't done this before, all of the Fox bodied LX models were like this. While I'll agree with you on the brakes, I'm sure that both the GT and V6 will be...

    CNBC Reports 05 Under 20000 w/ 300HP

How much different is the 4.2 v6 F150 engine from the 4.0 engine in the new mustang? To upgrade from a 4.2 v6 in a F150 to a 4.6 SOCH 2v is $638. Now I know the new 3v engine is more complex, but how much more complex is it? At the most $1000 (I believe that would be a liberal estimate). So...

sub $20k V8 rumor strikes again

The guy in the video is J. Mays, who is head of Ford Design I believe. He may have an MBA, but he's also layed out some of the best automotive designs in recent years. Under his belt is the Jetta, Bug, Passat, Thunderbird and now Mustang.
