    Aha, I've got some of that in the shop. You can chuck it in the mill and do a "turned" finish on sheet metal parts, the pattern of circular swirls seen in 50's Diners and such. Haven't ever used it, just got my hands on some a while back.

    I rebuilt the lower section to get rid of the map pocket and add a larger speaker. It cleaned up the door panel nicely, and I"m happy with the finished look.

    The panel sits recessed a little in the dash, so the edges shouldn't be an issue. The surface sheet isn't sturdy enough without backing, anyway. Did the word .doc font show up for you?
