    Finished my 306 today

The exact same thing happened to me, and it was a fresh heater core. Bumped the tubes installing the motor (not too hard) and the core let go the first time the new motor got warm. :(

    My turn - winter upgrades

LOL, that smiley is from my local forum. There are some pretty funny ones over there.

Get it all tuned up and take a quick blast around town, and then: been waiting for a chance to use this smiley! lol

Discount Wheel Direct, and I don't know the answer regarding offset, sorry,

LOL! Straight gangsta... I *think* the talking module is incorporated into the siren, and not the "brain" of the alarm. You could have an audio shop (or yourself) swap the siren to a new one and stop the talking. I'm fairly certain this is how those old Vipers worked. It could be worse...

Nitto drag radial 275/40/17 in back and 235/45/17 up front. Eibach Pro Kit springs. *edit* checked tire sizes when I came home for lunch.

Same fox, three sets of wheels: The last little details are in hand, and it's time to hit the streets again soon... :nice:

Hope I'm not speaking out of turn for the owner, but it looks like an alarm system LED. That's a common spot for them in the fox bodies, something I saw a lot of in my car stereo store days. :nice:

    Official "Electric Fans FTMFL" Thread

I put a Black Magic Extreme in my car when the new motor went in. The fan cools the car fine, but the controller has failed three times in less than 200 miles! I've checked everything several times, and all is correct and by-the-book. Ordered (and received) a DC Controls unit, and it will...

    Congrats Mansonozz!

:nice: Still haven't seen it, but headed towards a place where a copy may be in just a few minutes...

Do you avoid confrontations with LS1s?

I find them, and destroy them!

Way to go, Dave! At long last, huh? Haven't seen it yet, but I'll keep my eyes peeled.

    Where to put MSD 6a?

Nice find. I dunno how much they were either, it was a while ago when my friend put him on his notch. My stock ones are still in great condition, but at least the rivet gun is now in the tool box if they ever get tired. :D

    Where to put MSD 6a?

I think the larger ones in our shop came from Sears, maybe even 50Resto (if they even sell them, that's where the new handle kit came from). For smaller rivets, I've got a pneumatic rivet gun, which has completely spoiled me.

Can you guys post pics of any Explorer or GT-40 intakes

A little "artsy" GT-40 shot. Mmmmmm.... And a couple digicam shots:

    Where to put MSD 6a?

No pics, but I've got my 6al on a bracket I made which places it inside the fender just behind the battery. The inner fender liner keeps it dry (that, and the fact my car doesn't see rain, lol) and it places the unit in a good location for wiring.

    Custom Radio Faceplates?

I'm really hooked on CNC work. Even though I run a business, it still feels like a fun hobby! It's a blast to watch parts being cut out! Here's a shot of some panels right before they came off the machine:

    Custom Radio Faceplates?

You're probably partial because Inventor is awesome! I've played with Inventor 9, and it is wicked. Custom parts are fun to do, and many possible configurations exist just for the fox radio plate. Beyond programming, don't forget machine setup/run time for the one-off stuff is costly. CNC...
