    I recommend spending the extra cash for the deluxe hog ring pliers, your hands will thank you. I actually snapped the cheap pliers that come with those hog ring kits right in half.

    Of course the ammeter is going to jump when the bass hits, your amplifier will be drawing more current which means your ammeter will measure that increase. Upgrading your alternator will not cause an ammeter to stop jumping.

    My C4 won't shift from 2nd to 1st by itself unless you're travelling REALLY slow. I think it's just the nature of the C4.

    You'd probably be better off just getting rid of that hose all together, and blocking off those two ports. It would look a lot nicer too.

    Gears, cheaper and easier to do. That being said, I ran the same E.T. prior to my head swap with 3.40 gears as I did with the heads and 2.80 gears.

    I have one as well, I have played around with the springs and found that one silver and one blue works well for my motor. However, what I'd like to know (Maybe someone can answer) is how to heck to get at the advance stop bushing? Is it possible without taking the distributor out?

    My dome light fuse keeps blowing, common short cct locations?

    The 7.5 amp fuse for the interior and dome lights keeps blowing on me, there must be a short somewhere because it blows when the lights should be off (Doors closed). This just started happening yesterday. Are there any common areas to check for a short circuit? TIA.
