Excellent photochop pics notchback and fastback

imo: the notch doesn't look good at all, maybe if it was chopped differenty. As the pic is: :notnice: full fastback looks pretty good, but lose the spoiler.

what can I do to get as much power out of my 6 cyl

Its ture, thats what makes a 300 such a good engine for a truck. Shame they discontinued it. I hope they'll follow Chevy and bring back the inline design. V6= :notnice:

GM guy here, thinking of a '05, I don't know though, knowing of ford quality....

From my experiance, 92 Ranger- good daily driver, the transmission messed up but thats a Mitsubishi not Ford. My moms Dodge van has a Mitsubishi engine in it, it still runs but gets like 13mpg and has the power of small kitten, but it won't die. My sister has a 94 Buick LaSabre- good engine...

what can I do to get as much power out of my 6 cyl

Let me chime in on a few things. From what I've heard, these engines take nitrous pretty well. Clifford performance is develping a performance head for these engines, but that will be very expensive. You can get a 2bbl carb and adaptor. A head from the 80's models had the largest stock valve...

    05' Mustang 1/4 windows poll

You're right, it ain't a pontiac, its a Mustang and most years have scoops. I think the windows look ok, but I would like to see the option. Btw, with the looks of the '05, it ain't no sleeper, scoops or no.

    05' Mustang 1/4 windows poll

I like the old style scoops but they have to be functional air extracters.

    68 Mustang

Since you don't already own the 6, I suggest waiting for an 8. It would be a lot easier to replace a small block v8 than the six. I bought a 67 with a 6 and 3 speed a few years ago, like you, I wanted to put in a 390 that I had in storage. After driving it for a few months, I decided to keep...

anyone got a pic of a 200 alternator mounting?

I think you have the wrong bracket. It should have a single hole on one end and a large opening like other brackets so you can slide the the alt to tighten the belt like you were saying.

anyone got a pic of a 200 alternator mounting?

I don't have a picture but I'll try to help you out anyway. I have a 67 but it should be the same as mine. There are 3 bolt holes on the passenger side of the block. The one closest to the fire wall is the ground. In front of that there should be two holes one slightly higher than the other...

top speed of a 6 cyl?

90 according to Ford in the 60's. Mine is mostly stock and I've never taken it to the limit, but I know she'll do 85+

Inline 6 Adapter for the new age...

I haven't, but if I remember correctly the inlinepages guy wanted 100 and some change. Not positive though. My guess is they will making them themselves, heck with the right tools and some stock, it wouldn't be that hard to make.

Inline 6 Adapter for the new age...

I've been thinking about doing the same thing with my 200 Mustang. From what I understand, an adaptor is the only way to get it to work with the high mount starter. You can check this site out, the guy http://www.inlinepages.com/ used to make adaptors.

    How far is too far?

I've got a 92 Ranger with the 2.3 myself. Good daily driver but I hate the the Mazda transmission. Anyway, I would suggest either putting in a turbo 2.3 or a 5.0. A 351W will fit but it requries more modifications. I would stay away from the V6. The Ranger Station has just about all the...

    69/82 (or so) I6 swap?

Somewhere around 69 is when they changed the starter location. The first I6s had a high mount starter, the later ones have a low mount. That creates transmission problems. They make an adaptor to hook a early 200 up to a T5 and other low mount starter transmissions. Again, I'm not exactly...
