    i sold my 95 for similar reasons. it was fast as hell, but things just kept breaking, like every week. things that were just maintenance stuff, which really started to egg me on. not to mention it would start doing random overheating ****. i thought id kick myself, but i came out on top 10-fold.

    some kid kept keying the dog **** out of my car and i found out who it finally was. we managed to pop his hood (older camaro), i drained his oil and shoved a long candle into the drain plug. We filled the oil back up and when he went driving, the car got up to temp and the wax melted and seized...

    Loss of power - Tried troubleshooting, could use some sug.

    did you remove the vacuum line off of the egr or just unplug it? the only reason i cant see it being an egr is that you are talking a pretty noticable loss of power.

    clock acting up

    its on the same circuit as the lights, so those bitches eat up a lot of power. my car does it to the head unit and i drive an 06. you can re-wire it to a less shared circuit, like the power to your head unit. itll stay bright all the time.

    my buddy from school had a mark vii with over 275k on his 5.slow. he popped the head gaskets after he was burning out and his water pump gave out, then it overheated and there you have it. funny as hell, and we had those gaskets busted out in no time
