    Part #

Does anybody have the part # for a 2001-2004 GT hood assembly. I have a ad in the classifieds looking for one. Looks like I'm going to possibly buy one from the dealer. :nonono:

$3-$4 a Gallon for Premium Gas + 18 mpg Mustang

Your car fairly stock is great. Add the real performance pieces that make the LS1 an awesome performer and watch the mileage go down. Do the cam and head swap that virtually every Ls1 owner does and the car won't be so hot.

$3-$4 a Gallon for Premium Gas + 18 mpg Mustang

If the price of gas does go that high. The V-6 car looks like a better deal then. To add performance, do the boltons and a blower. The car is cheaper to get into and probably has less insurance. Alot of people would say they would rather have a V-8, but if this scenario happens people might...

    05 Stang vs. 04 GTO?

My friend just picked up a GTO. Interior is great, powertrain is a knowbrainer, but the thing I question is the high price tag and bland styling. The car looks better in person than most pictures present IMO. But still disappears in the crowd amongst millions of Hondas. If the new stang could...

"Different Point of View" GM Vs Ford

I don't know about anyone else but F-bodies on the Island are more money than fully loaded GTs. Camaros with a LS1 go for 19-20K on lots. Forget about the SS or WS6 24-25K. GTs at the most for the coupe 18K.

    How easy

I'm pretty good considering I had a 88SS with a DFI Lingenfelter Tuneport conversion with a !2-bolt. Just needed some input into how much more involved is what I should have stated. Been there and done that. Its not the first car I built.

    How easy

Understandable, just want to know how involved , like time, helpful hints from others that have done it. Where would I get more info about it? I may want to swap out my long block before I add the blower. Looking to cover my as$.

    How easy

How easy is it to change and install a 4.6 in a GT? Just wondering how much effort involved compared to an old school Chevy. Thanks for the input.

    Your First Mod's

Probably wait for the first blower to come out. First catback, gears, throttle body. Then wait it out.

Trading in for 05: The ugly topic of resale value

If I get the Mach now at least I'll have more power. By the time 2007 rolls around all the players will be on the field, GT, Cobra, Hopefully a new Mach or Boss. The Mach hopefully will hold some type of value over the next couple of years.
