    electric fan relay

To be quite honest, I'm not sure about a DCC but this kit came with everything I needed. Temp sensor, both temp and A/C relays and all the hardware. The only problem I had was installing the temp sensor in the aluminum water inlet. Very easy to overtap (tap included in kit) then the sensor...

    electric fan relay

I bought the whole fan with relays and wiring kit from texas mustang. 2800 cfm and what I really like about it is that it mounts to the stock shroud. After the install it looks like it came factory with an e-fan...

    a/c giving me fits!

Thanks JRichker. You've got a lot of good stuff. I'll have to look into the homemade vacuum pump. If I can't find one, I know that Harbor Freight has some for about $79 that'll pull 29hg no problem. I have a mechanic friend (don't we all) that told me to look at my condensor. I took a hose...

    a/c giving me fits!

Pressure switch and guages are both new. Thanks for the help. I think I will try to vacuum it down again. We charged it with 1.75 lbs which was called for. It worked great for about 2 weeks then started acting like it was low on freon. System is holding pressure so I figure there is no leak...

    a/c giving me fits!

I posted before about my a/c cycling on and off for about 2 seconds and 5 seconds apart. Tried adusting my pressure switch. Hooked the guages on it and it was between 250 and 300 on the high side and the low side never would get below about 75. It had all the indications that it was low on freon...

slight cooling issues and how to tell if fan clutch is bad?

When did you put the blower on? You're probably going to run a little hotter with a blower anyway. I wouldn't be too concerned if it's not getting over about 220. An OEM radiator would probably help some but if you're bolting on power adders, you might want to consider the albeit more expensive...

slight cooling issues and how to tell if fan clutch is bad?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe the clutch on the fan actually "locks up". It's designed with a bi-metal spring or wound strip on the front of the clutch. This "spring" can sense the temp and actually convert that to the fluid inside the clutch. Similar concept as a...

    92 A/C issue

I just converted my A/C to 134a. All components were changed except the condenser. (Yes even the evaporator, fun, it was leaking on the initial charge) Anyway, it's been working well for a couple of weeks now. The true test came today when I took a little road trip. (about 300 round trip miles)...

    Speedometer question

Thanks. I thought as much. I bought the car with the 140 in it. Got the 85 from a friend that was already apart. He thought it was an 85 mph but wasn't sure. Now we know. Anyone know where I can get a 140?

    Speedometer question

I have a 93 and my 140 mph speedometer started going nuts on me. A friend gave me a stock 85 mph and said I could try it. Just as we expected it works like an 85 mph one in a 140 mph speedo. (reading way fast) Is there another gear I can put in the tranny that will slow it down to work in the 140?
