    FIRED!!!!

It isn't the fact of how much you took, it's that you took it. Says a lot about your character, I would have fired my employee for it as well.

    Doing the Heater Core soon

I hated doing the heater core on my 89. The heater core on my 86 though is a snap, it comes out the glovebox and that's it.

is this enough for 275 hp.

Might as well jump on the wagon here and ask. I am getting a new shortblock, with ported GT40P heads, 1.7 RR's, Longtube headers, flowmaster exhaust, weiand stealth intake, edelbrock 600 carb, stock cam. Would that net around close to 300, and what torque#'s? No power steering, electric fan.

    What would you do?

I hated not telling him. He asked me to find him a mirror for the passenger side. While I was looking one up he told me "Make sure it's for a mach 1 and not a regular mustang." I felt like crap for not mentioning it to him. It's an alright looking car, but for what he paid, no way. Here's the...

    Noisy valvetrain

Alright here's the scoop. The heads came assembled and ready for a roller cam not a flat tappet. Therefore the spring rate on the cam was 95lbs closed and 268lbs open, the springs in the heads are double springs set for 135 lbs closed and 394 lbs open. Voila instant cam/lifter destruction. Now I...

    Noisy valvetrain

Decided to stop screwing around and removed the cam. It isn't a pretty sight. The drivers side lifters are beat all to hell. Looks like someone took a hammer and gave it to them like a red headed stepchild. Passenger side is great, not a mark. All the noise was coming from the drivers side. Yes...
