    I have a 96 GT and need to rebuild my T45. Gears are grinding and I'm thinking it will be just as cheap to buy a new T3650 tranny. Just want to make sure this will still bolt directly up to a 96 GT. IS there anything I would need to swap out?

    Well I don't plan on going forced induction on this car. Where is a good place to get a windage tray? As far as mods go the car has a full pi swap and that's about it.

    Found the noise. somehow a socket go in behind the flywheel, which is odd because as you know you dont have to do anything even close to the flywheel to swap heads. Only reason I found it was because i got pissed off at the whole thing and just yanked the motor haha.

    As for the hole through the the center of the runners on the bottom, Dorman makes a PI intake manifold that is a direct replacement for the later model 4.6s and their's doesnt have a hole through the center either. Problably isnt a factory manifold, most likely aftermarket.

    I would like the motor/trans to swap into my 96 GT and Id also like to do an interior swap if everything is still there, otherwise just use some of the parts out of the interior. Ideally I would like to find a car thats been wrecked in the back or the quarters.
