    Sounds similar to the problems I have with my antique Ford farm tractors. My problems can be traced back to the ethanol crap that is blended into gasoline that requires frequent carb overhauls because that stuff sit in the passages and gums everything up.

    Valvoline makes a High-Performance Gear Lube in 75W-90, 80W-90 and 85W-140 weights that meets the specs for both GL4 and GL5, so it is safe for our "Yellow Metal" transmissions. I use it in both of my Top-Loader 4-Speeds.

    Most certainly yes. The V8 Mustangs used many Fairlane components, while the I6 Mustangs used many Falcon components.

    Looks like a good high-torque street grind! It's also good it has the 351W firing order to reduce main bearing loads.
