    Lowering Springs for a 4 cyl.

    I rode in a Formula Fbody with sportlines. Rode better than My RS with the pro kit. Both still had stock shocks.... So I will stick with the pro kit handles better but with a rougher ride.

    Title says it all. Engine and tranny combo from an 86 Turbo Coupe. Figure we might throw in a new clutch before it all goes in. any recommendations other than the 124.99 dollar Duralast autostupid clutch????

    Crap I just started with 320 dry then moved to 1500 dry then 1500 wet. After that used some aluminum polish then some brasso and my strut tower brace now looks like a mirror!!

    Crap my 2.3 came with 195/70/14's on it just swapping from 14's to 215/6015's and putting in GT seats made a HUGE differecne.. But my car is a coupe. It actually felt sportier than my GT convertible!

    Eibach Sportlines lower the car a bit more but the ride is more compliant. Eibach Pro Kits lowers the car less but is more focused on handling. I had these on my 89 RS camaro. Very rough ride but man it was a lot of fun to drive with those springs on that car.

    well it straight aluminized steel I think he said... Not sure... He owns the shop and its pretty much just the cost of materials... heh plus the "beer fee" and its only the over the axle pipe from the rear of the muffler to where the beginning of the stainless steel or chrome tip would start.

    Local shop qouted me 60 bux for the over the axle section 90 with a chrome 3.5" Tip welded on. and only 20 to weld it to the muffler..... not too bad..... Bit more yes... but much straighter shot. But a lot of it is personal opinion. Oh the piping would be aluminized steel. Granted...

    any expierences with flowmaster 40 mufflers?

    The 93 we have sounded horrible I thought with the 40 series flobastard on it. I much prefer the sound of the dynomax super turbo muffler on my 89. Not nearly as weed eater sounding. Gives it more of an inline 6 sound. Slight burble.

    lol yeah I decided to see what the engine would do first... Not bad for that Heavy TC! boost gauge was moving between 18-20psi and spiking to almost 24!! Ran good for a small vam non intercooled model!!!
