    Notice any gains with that Header? I had a super turbo on my old 2.3 and it seemed like it was bit deeper than yours is. Im assuming thats from the cat and header.

    Probably wont need anything as I might purchase a TC down here for 600. So if I do this its pretty much a 2.3T 5 spd coupe for 1100 bux (might be able to talk both owners down a bit)

    Hell I was just going to use the TurboCoupe sway bars. Though anyone know about using the turbocoupe front control arms? I know the rear is wider. What about the arms? that could help slightly.

    Well Locally down here I found an early 90s fox 2.3 5 spd for 500 bux. The kid needs it till the end of the semster. I also found an 87-88 Turbocoupe 5 spd for 600. So going to try to swing both after a bit of bargaining with them.

    Oddly enough my 5.0L car got better mpg if I stayed out of it than my 2.3L. Sure the 5.0L was faster but for some reason it didnt seem to have the soul and character of my 2.3L and my 2.3 remained my favorite to drive unless I planned on racing. Odd.... crap I think I was :OT:

    When I did it years back I was told the 5.0L got less amps due to the fact it had the mechanical cooling fan. While the 2.3s got the electric. Well my 5.0L had an aftermarket electric (WELL WORTH IT!)

    years back when my GTs alt died I bought a new 4 cylinder alt (back then 5 amps higher and 15 bux cheaper) bolted it right onto the GT with no problems.

    2.3L cold air intake kit?

    actually its even easier than that now if you dont mind spending a couple extra bucks and having chrome plastic. Autostupid (autozone) now sells what you need to make a cold air intake. If you want to be cheap about it you can just gut the air silencer (big plastic muffler with ford logo)...

    Good luck man. I sold all of my mustang stuff to help pay for my move and my gf (mistake on the latter part of it) Defintely miss my 2.3L For some reason it was more fun than my 5L wierd I know. But anyway good luck with the car!!!
