    yeah AC in a vert does not always make sense, but in HOT areas, the last thing you want is to have the top down.. you get char broiled.. especially in traffic when you can't kee moving.. Been there done that, SUXORED!! Yeah movign the Alt makes sens with that set-up.. motor looks awesome man.

    WOW, One color paintjob, maybe with a PHAT pair of classic racing stripes up the nose, remove the decaling and it would be a sweet around town car!! heh of course with the bolt ons to fill the empty space under that hood and utilize the hood scoop properly and backup the awesome appearance...

    I don't see PR closing it is the only place the big boys come to out here.. Only way to close PR is to open another better facility, and with the $$ they just dropped on the new surface that does not make much sense. Plus they got the MX track etc...

    Will the pan fit in the vehicle?? I just got a later model ranger motor I plan to use while I build up my Turbo motor... I would hate to have to crack the damn thing open and change the pan.. Hoping to just drop it in and run it without changing gaskets or anything other than accy's for now.

    Well, I have a '88 2.3l LX. bone stock. I just bought a 5lug front kit that will be getting installed. I will be puting a 8.8 with 5lug on the tail so braking/wheels will be upgraded.. I want the car to handle better, call it a "canyon carver" something that handles cornering very well...

    How far is it from home??? MAybe some local stagnetter has a trailer you can borrow, maybe ibn trade for some parts....?? I would say part it out, OR look for a local car with bad motor but OK body and transfer stuff over....

    Wow, I just find that suprising... With the big mass of the V8, I would have thought the difference to be bigger. :-/ Is that iron head for both?
