    Not unless you went with headers at the same time. If you just do a PI headswap your A/F ratio will be identical to the stock non PI stuff. As long as you run premium in it post swap it will last just as long as a lower compression one will as long as you dont race it every time you drive it.

If you get a tune which you need to get rid of the pinging with the mac maf the only power you will gain is from that tune and that tune only.     Hey man check your PMs on the depot. With a headswap you do not need a tune you dont need a recalibrated maf and it would take 1 gallon of booster to raise the octane 2 points.

    Nope it doesnt work that way. If you leave the stock maf in place the only thing that will throw the A/F ratio off is a bend that creates turbulence directly infront of the maf therefore fouling the reading by the maf.
