    EFI help please

    I simply got the wiring diagrams for the donor car and studied them and found the wires that would need to integrate into the recipient's harness and then used the diagrams for the recipient to know where to hook those up. A little time invested but you completely understand the wiring when done.

    Sorry but that makes absolutely NO sense. With Tri-Ys you don't have exhaust manifolds anymore as they replace them. Tri-Ys were on every 65/66 Shelby and most of those were manual transmission vehicles.

    I find it hard to believe that the standard Tri-Ys will not fit with a manual transmission considering they were developed for the original Shelbys which were MOSTLY manual transmission vehicles. That simply does not compute.

    A Mustang II rack is front steer and our cars are rear steer. I am assuming you have a Mustang II front suspension setup in place then, right? If so why did your kit not include the shaft you need.

    There is a bracket available that bolts onto the block/tranny bolts that lets you continue to use your Z-bar style clutch if you like......but why anywone would is beyond me unless staying completely original is important.

    For a bone stock 289 with modest goals for the long term you simply cannot go wrong with a set of Tri-Ys. Add a good 4 barrel carb and ignition and you will have a nice reliable fun to drive car that gets decent economy when you foot is out of it. If you have more lofty HP goals in the future...

    I am not familiar with that system or the sensors it uses per se but your problem sounds line a bad/dirty idle air bypass/idle speed control or whatever they call it on this system.
