    Newbie coolant flushing question

I plan to flush my coolant out because I seriously have no idea the last time it got flushed. I bought the flush 'n' fill kit from Prestone and installed that in the heater inlet hose. Everything is ready to go but I have two noobish questions. First off, where exactly is the screw or...

    Clutch Quadrant Install

So in order to reach the clutch quadrant, you replace it through the clutch pedal, inside the car? For some reason I thought it was under the car near the tranny, or near the thing that seperates the interior from the engine. (Firewall?)

    AFR 165 and 185 differences on a stock 302?

That's good to hear. At first, I thought the 185 heads were better in every way if you match them up properly but all the steps to take do sure sound like a pain. Looks like I'll be getting some AFR 165's. :) Thanks for the help guys!

    AFR 165 and 185 differences on a stock 302?

If you guys don't mind me asking, but why the 165's? Other than the fact that they line up perfectly (which is a plus, since I've never changed heads before), is there more usable torque for a street car, as opposed to the 185's?

    AFR 165 and 185 differences on a stock 302?

What are the differences between the two? I don't plan to get a stroker or anything so I'll stay with the 302. I've seen a lot of people just plug the 165 heads in, and I've seen a lot of people opt for the larger, 185 heads. I believe these people have to fly-cut the pistons and run a custom...

    Longtubes on stock motor?

Sorry for being new to car mods, but can someone explain to me how this is done exactly? I plan on getting a full exhaust, with LT's as soon as I get enough cash so I'm trying to get enough information as possible. Is there a special way to remove the steering linkage? Or is it held by a...

Got my new brakes (pic), question...bleeding and what fluid?

That looks pretty good, but I have some small questions about if you don't mind answering. When you mean pump it up some, do you mean pump the brakes, or pump the device? If it's the device, then what do you pump up? In the image, it shows the yellow brown liquid. Is that the old brake...

Got my new brakes (pic), question...bleeding and what fluid?

Cool site you got there, I'll have to register there later. Second question about the clear coat. I have get the entire thing stripped, then re-applied? Even though the only source of peeling is about the size of a quarter? And there is no possible way I can Zaino with this stuff present...

I'd love to check that out buy Saturdays aren't good for me. I work 2-11. Meguires Gold eh? Are the cotton or Micofiber? I'll have to check that out. Regarding the clearcoat peeling, what are my options? Do I need to get it re-done or something? What caused it in the first place do...

    I need some help guys

After thought, I have just one more question. If I stayed NA and with the stock block and did everything I could with the stock 302, would it have some respectable power? I know it won't be the fastest thing out there but I'd like it have a car with some very nice power that only a few cars...

For those that had awesome results from Zaino, what did you use?

Got that right my friend! :D Oh, I forget I mentioned that I read that part, but it seemed too nitpicky. He recommends those huge bath 100% cotton towels. And there not exactly cheap either. Just wondering if it's absolutely neccesary. I've have some Absorber rags laying around here as...

    I need some help guys

Your referring to choice 1, correct? Yeah, I think you're right. It's not like the combo I chose will be final forever. I can have many more Mustangs with different combos. The next one wilder then the last one. :) And since I have limited know-how, I'll probably go with the first...

For those that had awesome results from Zaino, what did you use?

I got the kit and I'm simply looking at the number of other stuff you used. How many cotton towels, which brand, did you use microfiber towels, etc. Just a quick run down on what I need. And I've got a similar question regarding my paint if you guys don't mind reading. I noticed a...

    I need some help guys

I've been wanting to get some healthy mods for my car, but I keep changing my mind. I'm leaning towards three choices. I've got a lot of questions too so if you don't mind answering those, I'd appreciate it. 1. NA motor, maybe some AFR 165-185 heads, mild cam, 3.73 gears, and a nice...

Any really sharp looking rims out there besides Cobra R's?

Wow...very nice man! If my car was black, I'd probably purchase those rims after just now looking at them, lol. One more question. Do I need wheel spacers? Is there a certain wheel spacers that extends the wheels out at a perfect spot where it looks really good? Sorry for making this a 4...

    How to take off cowl?

I should of asked before I got all the primer and paint and stuff. I'll keep that in mind for next time though, lol. But since I got the stuff already, might as well give it a try. Hell, anything is better then the sunbaked piece I have on now.

    How to take off cowl?

Probably a stupid question, but how do you take off the windshield cowl? You know, that plastic black piece the wipers are on right by the windshield. I want to get a coat of fresh flat black on it because it's looking pretty crappy. Don't want to break anything, lol. Thanks!
