where is the fuel pump relay located at?

Some of the Mustangs have the relay under the seat, others have it located under the Mass air meter, check both locations. The switch in the hatch is the inertia switch and its pretty hard to trip. I got rear ended once and started the car right back up after that.

    Main Support Hits Oil Pan!!!!!

Even with my Canton oil pan on my 408 my MSS studs still hit a little bit. I used a small socket and tapped it from the inside to dent it outwards. That cleared the studs enough for it to pull down. Before you bolt everything back together make sure to check your oil pump pickup to oil pan...

Help me I'm desparate! I need to get rid of this rust

I dont know what guage steel that is, but what I did when i welded in my frame rails in the engine bay was cut out a rusted piece and went into a local metal shop with the small chunk and they measured it and sold me a similiar guage metal. I looked up the Ford price from our shop, so thats...

Help me I'm desparate! I need to get rid of this rust

Well, I looked it up today in the shop. That piece is available from Ford, but it comes at a price. $216, for a coupe or hatchback, less for a vert. Its so expensive because it comes with the A pillar that goes all the way up to the leaded seam. It booked at 7.0 hrs to replace it, so its...

Help me I'm desparate! I need to get rid of this rust

This is a tough one. Its rusted through around a corner, and its in a very bad area for future rust. Most cars have rust behind the door hinges, so your going to have to fix it all before etching and sealing. The shop I work at no longer does rust repair and I dont miss fixing rust at all...

    Coil over kits

I dont know when I will make it down. The cars got some problems now and definatly will need to be attended to before going to Road America. I also have to find the money to take it to AFM and get the new engine dyno'd. Theres a local guy here from Des Moines that takes his 93 Cobra there...

    Coil over kits

If you mean Road Racing then look into Griggs coil over kits. They use Koni shocks and struts and IMOP they are the best coil over kit available. I have Griggs coil overs in all 4 corners and use Koni DAs in front and SA in the rear, I use 425 front springs and 225 rears to work with my torque...

    replacing floor, need bracing advice

If you looking into subframe connectors, or any suspension products Kenny Brown is no where near the best. Probably the best is a Griggs in floor kit, but definatly not needed for your car and wont work with stock seats. Id suggest looking into Maximum Motorsports subframes. They have...

    17x9 w/275's on a fox?

I eliminated the stock brace and made another one thats closer to the wheel well opening. In the location where the stock one is it will push the front bumper out way to far in order to accomplish tire clearance. It all depends on your car wether or not this is even necessary. You may be able...

    17x9 w/275's on a fox?

I run 275 40 17s in all 4 corners, but I also have modified wheel base with the Griggs front end. I have some pics on my website on the modifications that are necessary to do in order to push the front fenders out and where I trimmed the LX fiberglass fender extensions. All thats necessary...

How do I get this trim piece off?

If you dent the cowl your really doing something wrong. The place where you will be prying is right near a bend (strong point) on the backside of the cowl. Youd have to be very wreckless to dent the cowl.

How do I get this trim piece off?

yeah hes right, just lay a towel down on top of the cowl and then pry on it straight up. Some are loose enough you can do it with your fingers.

What brand roller rockers are you using wtih TW heads?

If you planning on staying with the 3/8 stud diameter then I would buy a set of FMS blues, they are cheap and a really good rocker. I upgraded to 7/16" stud so I bought Trick Flow rockers, which are the exact same rocker as Crane Cams Gold Race, except a lot cheaper and black in color. Also...

    Solid Flat Tappet?

He said under or around 7,000RPM, either way I would not run hydro lifters up to that RPM. I would be looking into solid rollers.

    Solid Flat Tappet?

Hydro lifters wont work at 7,000RPM. They will float, your going to have to go with a solid roller lifter setup or flat tappet. If it was me Id look to go solid roller. Im now running a flat tappet setup on my car and they sound awesome, but constant valve lash settings.

How does a dry shot work?

I have this ignition box and its a great box. One thing though, even with your timing advanced you most likely will not use the ignition start retard feature. Im using it, but I have my distributor locked out, so theres zero timing advance, which makes it start very hard without the feature.

How does a dry shot work?

With the 05115 kit, there is a fuel pressure sensor that you will thread into your schreader valve. While the nitrous is spraying the sensor watches your fuel pressure and if the pressure drops it will shut off the nitrous flow. Its a good kit, and works well. I had it on my old 306 and ran...

    more boost, more problems

What is your plug gap set to? I had mine initially set to .55 and once I put the charger on I set them back down to .35. It will stumble and stutter if your blowing the spark out. Close the gap down to around .35 and see what that gets you. You may want to but a set of new plugs with a...

    more boost, more problems

Are you sure its the correct pulley? A 12lb pulley should only produce 12psi, why is it reaching 16psi in 3rd? The varied boost problem most likely is from belt slippage. Changing pulley sizes that far you need to get a different belt. With my old 12rib Procharged setup I could hear the belt...
