4 Point Seat Belt without Harness Bar?

corbeau has some really cool 4 point belts that bolt up the factory 3 point mounts, available in either retractable or non retractable. i'm seriously considering this option for the 69 cougar. check 'em out Corbeau: 2-Inch Retractable Harness Belts Corbeau: 2-Inch Double Release Harness Belts

POSSIBLE CPP SUSPENSION FRONT BALL JOINT FIX.

may i ask what spindles you are running? it almost sounds if you are using granade spindles or 70 and up spindles on a ball joint designed for a 65-69 spindle but that is only a guess on my part....

SN95 caliper to Granada spindle bracket

stock parts are great on a stock restored car or vintage racer, but there are a lot of restomod guys on here who think stock is for the birds, i'm kind of in between. i like my cars to look pretty much bone stock except maybe wheels and tires, etc. my current mustang is pretty stock everywhere...

SN95 caliper to Granada spindle bracket

because the original brakes suck compared to the brakes on modern cars and these classic cars need to be able to stop as well as modern cars.

Just how safe can you feasibly get a first generation Mustang to be?

there's nothing wrong with a maverick, it was basically a mustang (also based on the Falcon) with a lot less content and options. BTW, the maverick's safety aspect is about the same as that of an early mustang, remember they are both based on the for falcon

70NE's custom EFI conversion writeup - Part 1

i'd say upgrade the brakes, stopping is way more important than shifting, especially with a bossted car.....:nice: then again, the flip side of the coin is that if the car won't move because the trannys trashed you don't need to worry about stopping. LOL :rlaugh: i still think brakes are more...

    New Mustang Steering Product

i have a question concerning the mustang and corvette boxes. basically i was wondering if the mustang box could be upgraded with the same 12.7:1 ratio as the vette box? they both appear to be based on a late model delphi 600 series box and i know the vette box, is the mustang box also based on...

    Wrong fan clutch

a lot of times a new fan clutch takes a while to "break in" so to speak. it has to go through a few heat cycles and it will eventually loosen up some.

Show me your custom steering wheel . . .

try to find an old superior wheel on ebay and just redo it. they are all over the place and you can't find an old grant on ebay because they fall apart. i've seen 40 year old superior wheels that have been re-stained/varnished and they look like new.

Ford is suing companies for use of Mustang name?

you know ford sold as many or even more of the Mustang II's than the original cars. i can't honestly see why anyone would say they are crappy cars and they are certainly NOT pintos, they are a completely different design, though they do have some similarities and share some common components...

Thoughts on the new CPP front suspension?

personally i don't like the steering feedback from front steer cars, especially one with rack and pinion, i can't feel when i'm at the limit with them but then i grew up with the early cars too so i guess it's all in what you're used to but i wouldn't consider a strut front suspension for...
