    I have a 65 coupe with a 302. I have a 1850 Holley carb on it and when i try to start it gas comes up and out of the vent tube. i have attached a pic to show where exactly it is coming from.

    Yes the 1-4 pistons are on you passenger side... the firing order is 1,5,4,2,6,3,7,8.... It sounds like you are not getting any spark. So double check you connections and it could be a possibility that the coil isnt getting enough power.

    Well i was out in the grage messing around on the mustang and i ended up taking the windshield out along with the interior. Just a few hours is all it took me. I was very pleased to see that there was no rust around the windshield and my floorpans are in really good shape also.

    You say that you rebuilt the engine. was it a total rebuild? What about the cam timming being off? Or a stretch timming chain. Just a couple of thing to think about.

    i think you should do a color like this. The paint code is HD and it is a tri coat. The name is green envy pearl. I just painted a new mustang this color and i think it looks pretty sweet!!!
