    Lag time problems

I seriously doubt it since Ford's stance is that it is a normal operation of the Drive-by-Wire system. The Toyota Highlander has the same system and their owner's are complaining about the same lag too.

    Post Pics of Your Mustang

Thanks! :) I have been enjoying them and enjoying watching people point and look as they go by. Even a few have stopped to take camera phone pictures. LOL Unfortunately the pictures don't do the paint job justice. The stripes are metallic with a candy clearcoat. So depending upon how the...

    Lag time problems

You have the option to modify certain optional parameters with any tune, be it custom or canned. For example, you can edit your Tire Revs per Mile in case you change your wheel size and tires, or you can change your Axle Ratio should you put in a set of rear end gears, etc. You can even change...

    2006 Problems. Fuel/Sputter/Frustration.. grrr.

No, none of that is happening. Just the hesitation after driving at the same speed for a while. I definitely plan to have the TSB with me when I visit the dealership. Especially since I've already been there about this with no resolution.

    ANy suggestions for a muffler?

I put the Magnaflow catback system on my 06 except instead of the y-pipe crap I had the shop make a custom h-pipe for me. It sounds really good to me and my friends. When I'm cruising around town, if I can get to 1,800 RPMs it makes the sweetest sound and gets everyone's attention, but not...

    2006 Problems. Fuel/Sputter/Frustration.. grrr.

Already printed the TSB and have it ready for when I get back home. ;) Thank you so much!!! I honestly don't think they even took it out at all. I *always* check my gas level when I drop my car of anywhere. I guess I watched a little too much Ferris Bueller's Day Off when I was younger. :) LOL

    2006 Problems. Fuel/Sputter/Frustration.. grrr.

That is definitely it! If I've been cruising down the hwy and then I take an exit and start slowing down due to a red light at the bottom but then just when I am almost stopped the light turns green and I hit the gas, the car will start to go, then try to die, and then haul ass. It will...

Questions on getting a Used 06 Mustang 'vert

I lowered my car with the Eibach Pro Spring kit and still was able to fit 20" wheels with 225/35R20 tires and had no issues.

    2006 Problems. Fuel/Sputter/Frustration.. grrr.

Thanks for posting that! Maybe it will help with my problem of when slowing down and then putting on the gas the car trying to cut out before it decides to haul ass.

    Lowering

I just had the Eibach Pro Springs installed on my 06 Convertible and my car looks great now. The ride isn't bad either.

Fun Ford Weekend in Orlando March 3-4

Unfortunately my trip has been canceled. My father died yesterday morning and I need to attend to my mother and the sordid details that come along with someone passing. Hopefully everyone will have a good time and good luck with your races.

I asked Justin at VMPTuning about it before I ordered my custom tuned XCal-2. He said that I could enable the TCS at any time by depressing the dash button.

Fun Ford Weekend in Orlando March 3-4

I was wondering if anyone was going to attend the Fun Ford Weekend at the Orlando Speedway the first weekend of March (3rd & 4th)? I am driving down there on March 2nd and plan to meet up with a few other Mustang owners from another forum to hang out and race Friday afternoon and night. I...

    New to the V6 stable

You can still enable TCS by pushing the button on the dash. The tune setting just disables it when you start your car so that you don't have to manually disable it every time you start your car.

    New to the V6 stable

I just got my XCal2 from VMPtuning.com and what a difference it makes. :o I cannot recommend this simple change enough. @hutccch, if you have an XCal2 you can adjust the gear ratio in the program. If you get the tune from a respectable source they should be willing to provide you with an...
