    manual steering effort

Once I build my 89 for the track I'm going to manual steering. If you get a close ratio it will be easier to steer than the others. The thing with manual steering is just to roll alittle before you start turning. Also, how did you find the production info of your car that's in your signiture?

Next Question: Will this work on my 89GT without changing brake lines or proportioning valve, MarkVII rotors with SVO calipers and SVO MC?

    5 lug front swap question

Note: I did a search and didn't find the answer there. Goal: 5 lug disc front/ 5 lug drum rear on 89GT. Question: Are there any 5 lug front rotors that I can use without changing the brake lines and possibly spindles? I don't want to use SVO because of the large dust covers. The car will...

Water damage progress thread (Lots of pictures)

Here's my flood damaged car. It was within 3" from completely covered with brackish water during hurricane Ike. It's been sitting out for a year now and I figured it would be rotted out by now, but it's not rusted at all. I'm going to gut it and make a drag car. I've got to replace the wiring...

5 lug drum-anyone know size or part #

This thread and the posts have been very helpful. I'm planning 5 lug drum rear/ 95 discs & spindles front when I build the 89. That way I can run wider wheels and not have to change out the rest of the system. The tracks only about 10 miles from my house so I won't have many stops on the way.

    hsean's project "resto mod"

Beautiful work. I plan to do the same sail planel/ quarter window swap on my 89 at some point so I'll be studying your pics. Also there is a market for that netted halo seat with the 4eyed crowd if you wanted to sell it.

For those who like Mopars too.....pics

Very nice. I knew where that was one of those a few years back. I think the guy wanted 15k for it and it looks pretty rough.

Sweet car collection, almost all GM though

That's nice and all, but how could you really enjoy them? Everything crammed in so close you can't even open the doors, let alone start or drive them.

Need advice of 86 GT Front Bumper Cover

I don't know that it would do anything for spider webbing. Soda blasting is not as harsh as sand and won't pit or distort plastic or rubber parts, unless you're not careful. Flex agent should work once the old paint is removed. Look up Eastwood and read about soda blasting for more info.
