Pulleys got put in today :D

nice choice on the pulleys (brand wise) the mac pulleys are crap. They came apart on me and I've got an engine tick as a result :notnice: I put the steeda set on along with the timing adjuster just cause i was already going to be down there so what the hell. BIG gains from that. Throw a...

Coupe or Convertible. Which is stiffer?

Uh oh, better not tell the girls who know me that! They might ditch me. I guess it's the color that gets em :D

Coupe or Convertible. Which is stiffer?

Hey for you guys still looking for a good sub frame kit, check this out. The company is relatively new to the modding scene but they have brilliant engineers who are thinking outside the box with some of their products. Their customer service is above and beyond that of even the best other...

    Differences between subframe connectors

hey, if I did't already have the sfc's that i've got now, i'd definately have bought the cross brace sfc's from evolution motorsports. $275 sounds steep but you get a free driveshaft safety loop out of it as well as knowing that the frame connectors allow clearance for a side exhaust. Also...

Coupe or Convertible. Which is stiffer?

A quick spin around the curvey streets of my neighborhood in my street prepared class coupe usually leaves male passengers "stiffer" if that helps. :jester: I'm not gay btw...just to clarify

    Differences between subframe connectors

The floor pan can also tear out if you run too much nawz. You'd be lucky if you don't blow the welds on the intake manifold too. Just make sure you don't granny shift and that you double clutch like you should and your floor pans will be fine.

Griggs and Maxiumm motorsports are the best. I think steeda played catch up but I've got the Griggs full length ones and they are awesome. $90 too :nice:

MAC CAI Installed on 98 GT Love it!!!

CAI's are a waste UNLESS you do something else when you put the CAI on. MAF MAF MAF. The intake cannot be any more effective unless you put a larger mass air meter on it. I made a homeade denscharger and left the stock MAF on for a while. It went from TB to inside fender. Then I got a C&L...

    Best Mass Air Meter Kit?

well...for the pre 99 GT engines, an aftermarket MAF makes a HUGE difference. I think in 02, ford started putting bigger MAF's in the cars (which would really make an aftermarket MAF a waste for those cars).

$2000! & I want to upgrade my brakes,

don't waste your money on the brembo kit unless you're going to be road racing. The cobra or bullitt brakes are fine for most people. You're really not going to notice a big difference between the cobra brakes and the brembos unless you repeatedly slam down on the brakes time after time. The...

To All Those 96-98 Gt Owners!

The car is slow but like all cars, with a little money (or in our case a lot) they can be very fast. Like some other guys said, a head swap really ought to be the first thing on your list. It costs a lot but if you go the other route with lots of small mods, they kinda equal out. Make sure...

    another dumb question but.....

I threw one on after I made my denscharger and was too lazy to drill another hole and try to line up that air tube that goes from the driver's side valve cover over across the engine and into the main air tube. Had it for over a year and no problems yet.

    Best Mass Air Meter Kit?

I've had the c&l maf on a homeade denscharger for over a year now with no problems. Idle's great, pulls harder.
