Have to disagree with all of you. The combo of Xpipes with cats and 1 1/2" JBA shortie headers sounds much better and feels like about 15 hp. No loss of torque anywhere! No loss of HP anywhere! Wole up my pony car. This is from a guy that put on pullies and threw out the silencers and fet...
Believe it or not it goes in very much like the stock one I dont remember exactly how I did it but it does fit together if yours is from Cervini! U can always call them they are good people and helped me a lot and I didn't even buy it from them!!
OK know where that is and I will give him a try and mention your name once I get the parts lined up! Do they give any deals on parts since they are hooked up with BBK?
Yes if you have done head work you will need bigger than 65mm but if not your heads wont support more than the 65mm even though the Cobra manifold is bored to handle a 70mm. If you want/need a bigger TB you can go Accufab or BBK or Edelbrock MAC or others.
The BBK and edelbrock was the same now maybe different as BBK no longer makes it for edelbrock. I like Ford for TB cause they are cheaper and are as good as stock ones. Got the money go with Accufab it is the leader.
Walbro, probably as good or better than anything else. They make most pumps with private labels anyways. I put mine in and although a few people say they are noisey mine is much more quiet than my old one and almost as quiet as a new stang pump!
I used the link and it works perfect. I added an inline fusebox mounted by the driver side wheel well just for added safety. The way mine turned out is that I can use fogs with parking lights or with driving lights on but not just fogs!!
I used Maximum Motor Sports SS brake lines and they are just perfect. Looks great fits great! I know a while ago there were issues with Russels and for a short time Saleen refused to sell them. I use The Mustang Depot for my rotors and they were really inexpensive and work great no problems...
the size of your fuel pump should be determined by the extent of your future mods. Don't go crazy on size for no reason. Since the adjustable fuel pressure regulator is for find tuning you can wait on that. It is independent of the pump! The inertial switch is in the trunk.
For every weekend racing I say no if it is aging!! I would say, depending on which T5, 325 hp is about it at rear wheels!! However the most important thing is torque that is what kills the T5 along with hole shots!!
I would say you have a 7 teeth drive gear and need a 20 teeth driven gear. What you can do is remove the extension housing and count them. Remember it is a big job to change the drive gear on automatics! Formula for driven gear teeth is: drive gear teeth X Axle ratio X tire rev per mi all...
I would stay with your SD system. I have with about what U want and it works fine. I will have 1.7 RR and a Cobra intake real soon. Hope that wont change have nice my SD system runs!!
