    what is the best spark plug?

    I just took my 99 Exploder in to get the intake manifold gaskets replaced. They saw I had put in Bosch Platinums. They said the 4.0 SOHC shouldn't have those and recommended the stock Motorcraft plugs. I don't get it.

    On the contrary, I think the 05 had every opportunity to be both awesome and different. Quick! Someone get a patent on the 05 hood with the twin scoops like the concept had. By the way, went to the LA autoshow yesterday--very poor showing from Ford. No 05 concept car. No 05 production car...

    Sorry, not a kit, but all the goodies you will need to do the swap. Some people here on the boards scrounge around to get the parts cheaper--I don't have that kind of time, plus at least I know the stuff I got from Windsor-Fox works (they're also in a lot of magazine writeups).

    I just did the AOD swap in my 67 with the C4. The pig tail had to be sliced into the reverse light circuit. If you get the Windsor-Fox kit, it explains everything.

    Heater/AC Rebuild

    $2,000!!! I was going to have my mustang shop do the workt too... maybe I will do it myself. I had a mechanic friend that changed a heater core in my 69 Cougar XR-7. He charged me $150----he said he should have charged me 3 times that amount. It took him almost a day and a half!
