    whats the best way to clean the honeycomb grill?

    When you wash your car - do the grille first, rinse it off, then spray on some Simple Green cleaner. Let that just soak while you wash the rest of the car and then wash the grille again. Rinse and your done.

    Question on scoops

    What do you do about the rain, doesn't water get blown in to the engine compartment while your driving? I'd be worried about all the electronics under there.

    Meguiar's Tech Wax

    I used NXT and was very happy with the results. I use the 3-step process but this time i did cleaner and NXT and the car looked just as good. NXT really brings out the color.

    See if you have traction control [i think you do] if it's off you can spin easy. Turn it on so you won't lose it on corners.

    Just finished waxing...few questions

    Meguiars has a new product called Color X that is supposed to be good at hiding swirls and scratch's. On their site they say color x then nxt. Sounds like a good combo.

    K&N installation

    Removing the silencer is a personnel thing, it will get you more sound out of the engine when you get on it and let in more air - as far as any hp gains or not that is up for a vote as well. MM&FF magazine says gain of 5hp - some tests show a drop of a few hp. I have mine off just to get more air.

    00 GT vs Mach 1

    He will get you on the top end, rule of thumb is that SOHC is low end power and DOHC is top end. A good GT can take a Cobra off the line but thats where it ends. :(

    Coolant... should I change it?

    If you think it's still ok then leave it for a bit longer, i would just keep an eye on the temp guage and coolant level. Alot of people knock Ford but they designed the engine - they know more about it than we do. :shrug:

    Polished or chrome???

    CHROME -- i have chrome cobra r's and on my black car = sweet. Easy to care for and looks fine.

    Just finished waxing...few questions

    Try Meguiars new NXT tech wax, this is their newest stuff and it works great. I have a black car and the shine was outstanding and it also helps hide imperfections in the paint. Great wax. Check out www.meguiars.com for info and tips.

    need advice on buying 2000 vert GT

    Sounds like a nice car -- nice low miles, my guess is that it was taken care of. If your ok with the price - go for it. I have a 2000GT vert and love it.

    check engine light just came on WTF???

    This just happened to me a few weeks ago -- i disconnected the battery to reset to computor, and the light has been off ever since with no problems.

    California Duster?!

    I've been using my duster for 4 years and like they say, the dirtier it gets - the better it works. You can give it a fast once over every time before you go out.

    STP fuel probucts

    If you use good gas you shouldn't need these products. The gas companys put cleaners in their fuel anyway. They might be a help if you use cheap no name gas.

    Original 40 Series Flowmasters

    I have the original 40's on my 2000 GT and they sound great, only drawback is some drone inside the car.
