    Rear End upgrade

    I went 3.80 and auburn pro posi. need to wait till insurance is back on for a test drive. All the late model crowd seems to lean toward 4.11 for the aod unless huffing, then they like less gear. mine will see road trips and if its not enough gear for around town i will add more power.

    Santa came early to my house

    nice hinges! galvanic corrosion (from dis-similar metals)... make a paper gasket for the hood to hinge contact and use stainless hardware... santa stopped by my place too! he dropped an auburn pro posi center chunk with a 380 gearset for my 8" to go with my new AOD. Santa has been very good to me!

    double flare questions

    My tip is do not use a tubing cutter when trimming the lines to length, use a hacksaw.tubing cutters leave a beveled end on the tube and a double flare will be near impossible. also cutoff wheels shouldnt be used because of the end getting hot and is then harder to cold work, it could cause...

    dont the 5.0's have a clutch engagement switch that will only allow the car to start with the pedal depressed....that would be the way to go i think.

    What size fuel line

    are the 428 sending units 3/8 instead of the 5/16" stockers? and are they redily available? 2 types of braided brake lines, dot approved have a plastic sleeve on the crimped ends and the others do not.
