    pulling t-5, support rear of engine??

    well it could hurt stock rubber motor mounts. i just put a bottle jack under the that back end of the oil pan. do not attempt to jack the engine up there. just enough to keep the engine balance.

    ok i do agree that the wing could be better looking but it should deffinately stay, just maybe be revised. maybe a little more molded in like it should belong there. or like nascar. it doesnt stick up that high. its just a steap angle spoiler.

    where do you think the wings and flatblack hoods come from. muscle cars and race cars. back in the 60s and early 70s, a lot of cobra mustangs and torinos had wings, most cobras had flat black hoods so the sun would not glare off the hood into your eyes. and of course dodge charger...

    "backfiring" while deceleration is commen for performance exhause or leaky exhaust. taking off the smog pump makes sense. im sure that would cut it down.

    well not the oil seel itself but behind the seel is a bushing about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long. that is what supports it. how much play are you talking? i wouldnt expect it to be rock solid b/c its quite a long shaft and only supported by the rear main bearing in the case that bearing inside of...

    the drive shaft's slip yoke rides on a bushing/seel unit in the back of the tailhousing. with the drive shaft installed, the driveshaft is what carries that output shaft.

    i believe those triangle bolts are self tapping and since the are forced in, they have to be forced out.

    do you have a good rachet/socket set? with a breaker bar? you could use an extension perhaps for where you are working. im also not sure on the location of the bolts off the top of my head. breaker bars are easier to get a piece of pipe to fit around it. otherwise you hook two combination...
