    K&N problems

You can use a spray can of electronics cleaner to clean the MAF and see if that helps.

Cold Air Intake hit or miss ?

It's in My Garage link. Reason why most people don't dyno, is that they are hard to find in some cases and pretty freakin' expensive. I'm going with some people at work to one and they charge $100/hour. Too expensive if you don't get other people to go in with you... hopefully it won't go...

    Needle Adjustment to Default

Didn't take pictures of your gauges before the swap...? Easiest way I would know would be to get another similar stang to fill their tank all the way up, and take a picture. Then you fill your tank all the way up and align it like theirs.

    CAI

You paid for the name. We all know what these kits "claim." I'm personally scepticle about these claims, until I see some real before and after dyno numbers (not put out by the company). Paying $200+ for a CAI may predispose you to believe what the box says....

For you Sound Addicts who want loud V6's

Haha... :D the quote "speak softly and carry a big stick" comes to mind. Better to have the power and not let the world know it then to front and have nothing when you need it.

    CAI

Smart friend. The cheapest ones you can find, assuming you are going to get one regardless of our advice, can be found on eBay. AmericanMuscle also offers a similar one for $75 with free shipping. It comes with everything you need, but from experience you may need some longer vacuum hose and...

    Gutted My Catalytic Converters !!!

You must have been pretty bored to mess with a 3 year old car's Cats. It's not exactly a legal thing to do either... Anyway to answer your question, it shouldn't do any damage to the engine that I know of.

    Making exhaust louder...

Truth to the statement. Aim to balance the sound of your car with its power. In other words, are you shooting for a loud sounding car to give the (false) impression that you are driving a beast? IMO the sound should be consistent with what your car can really put out... otherwise you'll be no...

You'd get the ol' service engine light if the MAF sensor wasn't plugged in.

Cold Air Intake hit or miss ?

I'm dyno'ing mine early November, but from a sensory standpoint... I've noticed no change, other than a whistle. Any gains/losses on our 6s are negligable in my opinion... basically just an asthetic mod.

How do you take a 1996 Front bumper Absorber off?

Detach the plastic clips that secure the lower edge of the bumper cover. Detach the retaining screws that secure the bumper cover to the inner fenderwell splash shield (you have to be working in the wheel opening) Pry out the lower edge of the splash shield and reach up behind the bumper cover...

CAI recomendations whats the best out there

I'd hold off on the CAI for now as well. Only thing mine gave me was a lovely whistle. I'd personally start with something that kicks up the fun factor a bit... go with an MGW shifter.

Have you looked at Autozone? They tend to sell a lot of neon related products, some of which come with an adapter which you just plug into the ciggy lighter, but most where you have to tie into the wiring harness. For what it is worth, they should come with install instructions and give you a...

    My first monthly detailing.

http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=619838 You can always get the thicker clear plastic floor mats (not the cheapo thin ones). Pretty much everywhere that sells car stuff will have them. I haven't seen any quality red ones though.

The price you pay for lowering your car.... :D Definitely not a reason for getting rid of them.
