    Oil?

    It has been proven that synthetic oil will not cause leaks. If you put in a engine that already has leaks the leak will get worst, but who would want to waste money putting good oil in a leaker anyway.

    I use Amsoil. They are the ones who invented synthetic oil and they say there oil will beat any other oils on the 4 ball bearing test. Check them out at www.amsoil.com

    I tried the bushing in the freezer trick and it only partially worked I put the bushing in the freezer overnight and then put the sleeve in the oven at 300 degrees for 5 minutes,then gresed the frozen bushing and tried to press it in with the vise. It went in 3/4 of the way and then stopped...

    Has anyone ever installed polyurethane lower control arm bushings in a 1966 Mustang? The new bushings are made to press in the old bushing sleeve, so you have to remove the old rubbber out of the sleeve. I am having a problem pressing in the new poly. bushing, it keeps wanting to smush down...

    I got the old ones out and the threads are fine in the control arm, but my question is how to install the new shaft & bushings ? The shaft has threads and the control arm has threads also. Do you have to thread each cap on at the same time?

    I am replacing the lower control arm bushings and the old ones are offset. Shouldn't they be centered in the control arm? Also I am replacing them with the poly. bushings and the instructions says to leave the outer sleeve in and remove only the rubber & center sleeve. Does anyone know how I can...
