    Saleen Question

    Ummm...as far as I know, every Saleen has a number on the bumper, center console, and on the firewall plate under the hood. Yes, the number indicates which number the car was in the order of production line. I.E. In 2001, approx. 900 Saleens were built.

    I know...it sounds cool, but usually it is the unburnt gases in the midpipe that you hear.. I don't know the best way to describe this, so maybe someone else could pitch in here. Also, if you put your car on a wideband dyno, you will know for sure

    I heard that gains were at least 30hp at the rear wheels if you pulley down to get back the lost boost... :shrug: Easy now....he's probably too busy answering the phone... :rlaugh: :lol:

    Keep it in the garage :rlaugh: and buy a beater('84 Ford Ranger) for about $700. Some people pay more than that just to get snow tires and rims. BTW, the beater has lasted me 4 winters, I've put less than $1000 into it for repairs in 4 years time, and saves me money on insurance too. Just...

    When you let off the gas at about 4500 rpms and are slowing down, do you hear the exhaust pop and crackle alot? If it is, you are probably running a tad rich

    What do you guys think about this....my car is already dropped from Saleen--will these rear tires fit allright? Right now I have 265/35ZR18 on the rear and 255/35ZR18 on the front. What would you guys recommend I do for the front tires. Would it be bad to put the Pirelli 265's on the front...
