    I had heard that the '69 Shelby C6's had some differences from regular C6's is that true? I'm planning on having my Trans rebuilt & want to know what to look out for...     I've owned my GT500 since 1975. I never did much at all to 'prepare' it & it always worked fine. More recently, I add Stabil to the fuel (I learned from my father's boat) and I switched to Mobil-1 so that the initial start up in March isn't too abusive. The car has been doing fine.

    Modine's are the best aftermarket, but I couldn't find one for my 428CJ. I'd recommend a recore. It works great & looks as good as new.

    Thanks, Worth The unit ended up being defective... What a PITA, I needed to drain the tank again & I'm putting a new float & sock onto the old sending unit. So much of the aftermarket stuff is junk.

    I would have thought that too, but the guage goes from the empty mark all the way past full.. If the rod was just bent, it would go from say 1/4 to over full.. see what I mean?
