    The best would be if someone would build a good AM/FM that takes a thumbdrive in a USB slot on the face. You could then forget about the CD plaers that are just too wide & just use MP3s.

    I don't like the red button lights either, but I like hiding the CD player. Besides you can put hundreds of MP3's on a single CD & just leave it in there.

    I happened onto this Kenwood. It is made to appear old fashioned; two knobs. no screensavers or colored graphics & the CD slot is behind the face plate.     Shelby drop template

    I'd measure it and maybe compare it to the templates found in catelogues, like Branda. Some printers will alter the size of a print-out a little. I wouldn't trust that it's correct without checking.

    Starting Problems

    It could also be a bad starter. It turns for a while & then shorts out. Are you running your battery down faster than usual? Also the solenoid may be the problem.

    Water temp. How hot is too hot?

    If you ever get in that situation again, don't forget the old trick to turn your heater on... that should lower the temp. somewhat.
