    MILS Q

    hey guys... i recently installed an o/r x pipe and drove around for a little without the MILs however i installed the MILS the day after when they came in the mail. now a couple weeks later the check engine light came on. Is the check engine like on a delay or something?? thanks:D

    just got the gears...break in period??

    I beat on it right after i had mine installed. The guy who installed them deals with mustangs only and does a stand up job. He never told me to break them in or go easy on them for any period of time.:shrug:

    I put in my o/r x pipe and I threw a code because I didnt put in the MILs elims yet. Heres the questions, once I plug in the MILs will the code go away or do I have to take it to Ford to remove the code? Thanks

    What are you talking about. If you get a pipe that has no cats at the rear you definatly need MILs if you dont get them you will obviously throw a code because the car is registering that you have no cats. MILs are definatly a must if your going to mod your midpipe

    Thanks man. Even tho you dont have the stinger im sure it will sound about the same. No codes thrown, ive had it on for 6+ months. You need the MIL elims, I got mine from www.steeda.com. Perfect fit no problems. If you have any other questions ill be happy to answer them. Goodluck, Mike
