What size tires for 18" wheels

I did order my tires from tire rack, got some Yokohama AVS100 245/40-18 Front and 275/35-18 back. They are holding up excellent, especially for 160 bucks a pop, and grip really well. The only reason they suggest that size is for sidewall stability, but like they said, they have a whole lineup of...

    Bullit Wheels

True, no 18x11, you can get 17x10.5 or 18x10. I got mine through crossroadzdirect.com, only because I couldn't get an answer from wheelreplicas.com. You can also try cruizinconcepts.com, which I also could'nt get ahold of. I believe the rims are made by wheelreplicas and only them, just...

what supercharger would be best for me???

The website I directed you to will tell you how much hp/trq you can expect, I think it was near 350 rwhp +/- with the vortech (stock) , and I'm not sure about the paxton. But IMHO, if you later decide to upgrade your engine, the Procharger will take you the furthest than the others, of course...

what supercharger would be best for me???

I don't know, I looked at the Vortech S-Trim and it seemed like the best deal for a stock or lightly modified setup. Procharger seems to have an advantage as far as highly modified engines go. I'm eventually going to buy the Vortech system. Take a look on www.superchargersonline.com. That may...

    4R70W Ratchet Shifter from B&M?

What effect will this shifter have over the stock setup. Is there any true purpose for the ratchet shifter? What exactly do they mean by "ratchet shifter"? If I got a reversed valve body and a shiftkit, would I be able to manually shift my way through the gears? Any help would be appreciated....

Will this cause a ground clearance problem?

If you're careful, you might pass. I always pull in sideways at an angle to areas with high rises and it usually does better than going straight up and over. Maybe the same can work for you....

    White Face Gauges

If you got $450 laying around, get the Autometer Lunar Series cluster. That's probably the best Mustang gauge set on the market right now, and it's one whole cluster piece w/ lights premounted. All you do is plug it in and mount it. Just my opinion.

Different size rims in rear than front??

I agree, if you put 17's on front and 18's on back, your front tire will be thicker and more noticeable than the back one. In my opinion, I'd go with 18's on both front and back, just different widths. Or 17's......

Different size rims in rear than front??

I have the black deepdish bullits, 18x9 front and 18x10 back. My rear end has seemed to stabilize and the wider tire gets better grip. I have a recent post (black deepdish on 03 Stang pics) that will show it's stance on a stock suspension platform. Lowering the car will always, of course, make...

03 Black Stang w/ black deepdish (pics)!!

I got some new pictures on here that will show what they look like on my car. It's been raining like hell, so my car is dirty, but they still look stealthy and mean. The ride is alot better, more accurate on turning and accelerating. The back tires do make more noise, but what can you expect...

    Help me out here guys????

yeah it's common for them to come in 2 pieces. It's merely for an easier installation and for proper fitment. It should just bolt on w/ the same fittings as the other connections. With the MIL's, They just plug in between the sensor plug and the ECM control plug. You may have to cut off the tabs...

new wiper blades...i know its lame

I got some for my preemie from WalMart. Get the Rain-X blades, the blades are lined with silicone to maximize the life of it and it sure does clean my windsheild alot better. They are guaranteed to last the life of the car, I don't know how true that is but 20,000 miles is long enough.

03 Black Stang w/ black deepdish (pics)!!

Sorry about the pics, more will come soon. The tires on the back are Yokohama AVS100 275/35-ZR18. I'm planning on getting lowering springs, but I live out in the country and humps are bad, thinking about getting the bullitt mustang .75" drop, just to make it look better and keep my mufflers...

(REVISED) 03 Black Stang w/ black deepdish (pics)!! (REVISED)I finally got my black deepdish bullitts in. They're 18x9 and 18x10 back. They're sweet....and a helluva lot cheaper than my chrome elites I had on it. Easy to clean, and the paint matches my cars paint. I got mine from...

    System Install Question

All I can say is that I tried the same thing. Is it a factory (Mach) 460? If so, it may not work properly unless you have the proper wiring harness to connect the factory amps. Ford has a weird design in the stereo. If you have aftermarket, I'd take the factory amps out and wire the car's...

GRILL PONY DELETE??? IS IT POSSIBLE

I had done that to my black GT because I hated the honeycomb just like you. I didn't think it looked that bad, except for the srewholes and the minor scratches, it'll save you a little patience doing it now and then putting the delete in later, like 1/2 now 1/2 later. I got really pi$$ed at my...
