    2005 in canada

    1 Canadian Dollar = 80 cent's US now. But by this time next year, 1 Canadian Dollar with be near = > than 1 US Dollar. If you think 40 for a GT is bad, you should see what Cobra Vert's go for....Damn near 60,000K :(

    '03-'04 Cobra vs. Vipers

    Basic bolt-on modifications are hardly what most people would consider Heavily Modded. Heavily modded = KB blower, cams, 8.8 solid rear etc. & that = death for any viper.

    Nov. issue of Motor Trend: Auto GT goes 13.6 @ 99

    Drive it hard!!!

    Cobra's are made to be driven harder than your average commuter car, however if you plan to drive harder also expect to do more service work. Burning off a bit of rubber or down shifting for a light isn't going to kill your car. But if your an idiot about it, then it will eventually take its toll.

    2000 Cobra R Rear Bumber

    Your second link rsportscar has the right exhaust set-up to look like a convincing R clone. However, if you plan on lowering your car so it looks less like a 4X4 & more like a R car, then you might want to think about clearance issues. The R splitter & exhaust looks awesome but is a PITA...

    KB 1.7 on GT of 03/04 Cobra for daily driver?

    Not that you can't daily drive a supercharged car.....But if this car is to be your only car, then a 03/04 Cobra with a warrenty makes way more sense then throwing an aftermarket s/c on your current GT.

    96 cobra vs. 95 cobra

    Big difference between a 96 - 98 GT & a 96 - 98 Cobra. That being said a 96 - 98 Cobra with 4.10's & full o/r exhaust is a high 12sec car/low 13 sec car. A 95 Cobra with simliar mods, gears & exhaust will get killed bad from a roll, but will hang o.k. from a dig till about 80mph.

    2V-->4V conversion???

    Well some of us get attached to certain car that's understandable & a 4v sleeper GT would be cool. But a logical question you have to ask yourself is, do I ever intended to sell the car? I know you love your current car now but few years down the road when the 05+ GT's start catching your eye...

    2V-->4V conversion???

    I think all of you guys are all missing the boat on my post. ie: A 4v engine here will run you between $4 - 5,000 CND & Unless you OWN a shop & do all your own work your looking at another $2,000 to do the swap or more. If I own a 2001 GT with low miles, I can sell if for about $22,000. A...

    2V-->4V conversion???

    No the block isn't the same, but thats just one of many things. While both motors are 4.6L's that's where the similarities end, as they share no parts in common. A complete 4v crate motor is the only route to go & unless you own your own shop & do your on work, a 4v swap is neither cheap nor...

    97gt can't spin tires?

    That's a real possiblity....but 215hp & 280tq in a heavy Vert with an auto is not going to burn the $hit out of the tires whenever good traction is avalable. BTW: Traction not HP is the biggest factor at work.
