    I went the same way and put on a Magnaflow. I like the way it sounds, a deep gurgle note but when you get on it like all 6ers it will get a higher pitch to it. It's more of a rap like the old glass packs were after they were burnt out but at a higher pitch.

    I'm going to try an over drive pulley for the alt (if I can find one) so hopefully that will cure this. I really liked how the car was more responsive with it. When I do I'll post the results in case anyone else runs into this.

    You need a special tool to release it. I think just about any auto parts store would have one or get one for you. You could always have it replaced with your next oil change if you don't want to buy the tool.

    Yep, gears and t-lock. If you want the best mpg you could forget the gears and get the t-lock alone which is still a great upgrade ( I love my t-lock). What trany do you have? If it's an auto then 4.10's if a 5 spd 3.73's would be better.

    It looks like a barametric pressure switch but I can't be sure. Is there any vacume lines to it?
