Problem is i don't have any real sexy performance specs. My last dyno the fuel pump was dying, but has since been replaced and i haven't been able to get it on a dyno again. Old numbers were 340rwhp/380rwtq. Numbers should be in the 360-380/400rwtq range with the current tune. Track numbers...
So, i've been trying to sell it for months now and not one taker. Someone please buy the thing. I'll even throw in some nice shiny parts for free :D
Well, basically, it's a 2000 GT, Auto, T64 turbo, 40,000 miles, etc. Here's the ad...
A 275/40/17 "will" fit, but a 245/45/17 is probably the biggest tire you're supposed to fit on a 17x8.
I've got some 275/40/17 nittos dr's out back on my car and it works well enough, but the sidewall does bulge out ever so slightly.
Never heard of a crank failure in a GT. Most replace the GT crank with the cobra unit when they upgrade internals though and most stock bottom end GT's aren't going to push 7,000+ rpm, until they've upgraded the bottom end
I've always heard that the GT crank would fail with higher rpms, ie...
A good place to hide the switches and n2o pressure gauge. I would also recommend having the fuel pressure gauge in sight, either in the gauge pod or something like snkchmr has done.

You shouldn't have a problem with any cross-drilled rotors for a daily driver (i didn't when mine was a daily). The problems start showing up on hard track use, they tend to start cracking.
Plain rotors are actually best performance wise, but slotted or crossdrilled look better :)
Never really had any problems with my car, other than some of the turbo related bs. Damn turbo curse.
I've seen them go for $11-12k for a nice lower mileage GT.
I wouldn't do it. Why not wait for the 06 cobra?
I don't know your monetary situation, but what happens if you lose your job or have to work less hours? Are you still going to be able to pay for school and the car and manage to do well enough in class?
I've heard that it will handle about 400hp fairly well. Anymore than that and it could be a couple of days or a few months, but it will go.
My tranny seems to be holding up well enough, but i haven't broken the 400hp mark, i'm probably somewhere in the 360-380 range, and i haven't put too many...
