    Awesome. Is that on the 8" rims? Is that safe? I was thinking of ordering the 18x10 American muscles and running 285 nittos. Still undecided. Thanks!

    What's the widest tire that will fit on 18" 2011/12 rim?

    The stock 235's just aren't going to cut it. I think these are 18x8's. 285/40/18 Nitto Dr's are close to stock revolution so the speedo will not be off. These will go on the back and keep the stock 235's up front. Anyone tried these or this wide?

    Wes knows what he's talking about then. I could dyno 20+ more rwhp than you , but you could be 2 tenths and faster MPH. Just use the dyno for your car specifically to see what mods work and dial them in.

    Don't get into "dyno racing" your car. I was bad with that myself when I had my SS. Your dyno should be your 1/4 time and 1/4 mile mph. even with a bad launch, your mph won't lie and will let you know where your car is at.

    I just got home and the order is officially processed. GT Base model, Kona Blue, Charcoal interior, Auto, Spoiler delete. I can't believe this car comes with 235 width tires:shrug:. I will take care of that soon. They did let me test drive a manual they had on the lot which had 3.73's. Guys...

    Grover, I read last night on some website that you can't get a spoiler delete unless you get a premium package??? Any truth to this??? My order won't be sent in until Monday but they didn't say that at the dealer about this. If that car comes off the truck with a spoiler, I will NOT take delivery.

    Grover, that is awesome! And the dealer tried to talk one into one on their lot with the spoiler.....idiots. Capt, the 11's are just as sick. You aren't missing out my friend.

    Thanks Burns. Was always a manual Guy (my ss was) but I've lost my "man card" after putting a lentech in my notchback. The autos are so consistent and you can't go wrong with them. Do you know if the spoiler delete is an option on the gt?

    What's the lowest gear ratio that you can get in an Auto ( Iknow 3.73's are offered in the manual )? Can you get the spoiler delete (no spoiler at all) as you can the v6's? I've heard rumors of the 5.0 putting out around 450 hp for 2012...Any truth to that rumor. If so, I may wait for the extra...

    your **** is messed up somewhere. the ET isn't your issue really. I've seen people screw up in a Z06 and run a 14. Your MPH shows you are way down on horsepower, Stock 5.0's will run upper 90's at high 13's and low 14's.it is your mph (93!). You have a big problem somewhere- WAY DOWN ON POWER...
