    i had a 88 gt which had speedo only up to 85 which i converted tothe 140 speedo, 140 was reached on a strech on thruway near my house, Yes its dangerous but you need to try it once if its on a safe spot just to feel the need for speed :nice:

    I believe from reading many articles the MACH1 chirps the gears more easily because ford geared the tranny purposly to be more neck snaping, they set it up to the torgue and gears to get the perfect neck snapper, I myself drove a Mach 1 ,it was an automatic, and it didnt impress me much at all...

    My mach basically only needed the tranny shifter connected the front brakets of engine done, front end alignment, a buff job then decals added, the body had a 5 year old paint job which was starting to bubble already due to this new york cold/hot envirment, i was worried id be needing a paint...

    This is not correct at all. Ford f 150 sales are still higher than anyones over 200 thousand more trucks than even chevy ,Ford has dominated truck sales for over 20 years straight!!

    i am 5 8 and test drove one this week and it seemed fine, now i need to see if i should buy a new 2005 gt or buy another 1969 mach like a just sold, I got to admitt as soon as i heard the sales man drive it up i was almost sold on it by sound alone

    I cant believe your dealers are doing that by you guys, I looked at 3 different one with upgraded interior and they said sticker with my options was gonna be 27,000 and after A plan i would get it for 24,100
