    Hooking up at the strip

No clue, but I was sneaky about it. I teched with my street tires, then swapped on my slicks and the spacers. Plus I don't think he would've been able to tell I even had spacers on them. I hope to eventually go 5 lug so I have a good amount of options for wheels and backspacing, that way I...

It's fun, isn't it? I had about the same response with my car once I got it running. I look forward to seeing what you run with it, keep us posted! :nice:

    Hooking up at the strip

I have as far as I know, stock suspension. I do however, have traction bars, and I'm still waiting to put on my subframe connectors. When I ran on street tires, 245/60/R14, I was able to get a best of 2.0 for a 60', with basically just rolling off the line, I couldn't launch. I then ran...

    t-5 shifters

i'm using a steeda tri-ax on my car with the t5, works well, you have 2 options on height, im using the tallest option, works well for me. some people don't like the triax because it has a notchy feel to it.. but for aftermarket shifters, here are your choices that I know of. Steeda...

Hey Andy, did you do the striping yourself? If so, I may have a job for you? :D I'm wanting to get my car photoshopped to see how it'd look with striping.

    Swapping differentials

I've been searching the boards, I'm trying to find the info. I know I saw it before, just don't remember where it's at.

    Swapping differentials

yeah, i'm not following completely.. but it sounds like the granada axles are completely bolt on except for the retaining plate? that may be the route i want to go with if i ever decide to go 5 lug. so much more choice for wheels and backspacing.

    Swapping differentials

Do the Granada axles change anything, like do they have larger rear drums? Just curious as to if that would be a good upgrade to help rear braking after fronts are improved. The 5 lug part would be awesome though.

King Cobra air dam from Mustangs Unlimited

Who has one, and if you have one on the car, can you show me a picture of it please? Not looking for pics of actual King Cobras with the original air dam though, hehe. I want to give the car a slightly more aggressive look, and I think the King Cobra air dam is the way to go. Thanks in...

    Updated Member's rides

It was build to be a street car, with strip capability. It has 9.5-9.8:1 compression, and I run 91 octane in it (Premium in AZ), and it runs great, even with our ****ty summer gas.

Nope I didn't, it's just as I bought it.. I bet that it's my electric fans blocking most of the shinyness of it from the front. That'll hopefully change this winter when I plan to push the radiator forward and stuff an Lincoln MK VIII fan in there.

    Breathers and PCV valves

My setup looks sorta like that picture. On the drivers side, I have a PCV towards the front of the engine, which the tubing runs back into the carburetor. On the passenger side, I have a breather. Works fine for me.

Took the II to the dragstrip again, videos inside

When you do run, run slicks! The difference is AMAZING. I ran on 245/60/R14s a while ago, and my "launch" was rolling off the clutch then getting on it. With the slicks at 18psi, I'm revving at 3500 and dropping the clutch and going, and it just rockets off. I seriously have a hard time...

    Why you chose a II?

My love for the II began when my dad bought my uncle's Mustang II from him for my brother. This is the car we bought: http://mustangii.net/articles/not_two_different.asp My brother was in college, so I got to drive it a lot, and I loved it. It got a lot of attention, and always positive...
