    Quick test of EGR??? Buy a new one?

    Do I need the vacuum line attached to the EGR? Currently there is no line running to mine. Is it better to cap off that end or run the line? Will either hurt performance? Thanks

    Is it a front or rear stud? The rear studs on the front seats go straight through to the ouside of the car, the fronts don't. Would be easier if it was a rear. I'd just drill it out if you absolutely can't get it out. I imagine those studs are a pretty decent strength metal. Gotta wonder...

    Smog pump removal

    Not trying to steal the post here, I just wanted to check my situation out. I have ful length headers, all i have to do is remove the belt, remove the pump and tubing, and then plug the rear of the head, then run a shorter belt? Can i just unscrew the smog tubes from the heads? Thanks

    Why should I get an Optima battery?

    Don't regular batteries vent gases though? Optima or other brand gell batteries don't and can be used without a vent tube. I got one when i pickup my battery relocation kit. Still have yet to install it so we shall see.

    Quarter Panel Replacement on a Vert??

    Thanks for all the replies, I was jsut thinking that it bolted right in....guess i was wrong. Is the quarter panel tired into the convertible top at all? That just sounds like a pain. I'm going to get a pic on here and see what you guys have to say about either pulling it or replacing it.
