    I like wilwoods. great product for the money. SSBC is a kelley hayes caliper for the cheap base model. Whatever you do go aluminum caliper so you can remove some weight off the front end.

    new with custom suspension

    I built my own upper ball joint mount. It has a bolted on clevis and a welded on clevis. so the spread on the upper arms are wide enough to keep the heims from binding and wide enough for teh coilover to fit between the arms.

    i have KYBs on three different cars and they are stiff and great for improved handling. I would reccomend them to anyone with low budget and a desire to increase handling. Toto

    rear suspension debate..

    that stuff looks a little heavy for the rear suspension. It looks like you have to run an 8.8" rear end. But looks like they might have it set up right. Some modifications may be required to get the correct geometry setup when installing in a mustang.

    3-links are different than torque arms. A torque arm is a special type of 3-link. But in practice a 3-link is used to describe the new mustang rear suspension, not to describe a torque arm.

    Yes the TCP shafts are available if you call them. The drop shaft were not ideal geometry for what I wanted my susepnsion to do. I think DAZE and Maier and Opentracker all have shafts for the roller bearing conversion.

    Anyone with a 275/60/15 m/t street radial on a 15x8 wheel?? Need a BIG Favor!

    I have a hoosier 10"x26" slick on a 15 x 8.5" wheel. It fits the stock sheet metal in the back of my 65 mustang with leafs and the stock 9" (yes its an original k-model). I can get you that dimension if needed.

    I think he was saying for the 80% of driving conditions a leaf setup without panhard or watts will be effective in keeping the rearend centered. However to get the last 20% of your suspension and really push the car to the limits on a track with r-compound tires you will need a lateral locating...

    Yes the torque arm is like RRS. Torque arms are great for road racing but they lack the required anitsquat for drag racing. An adjustable 3-link is easier to fabricate and a more universal suspension.

    Actually mine is not a floating mount. Those are clamp on leaf pads.
