The UCA shafts are from TCP. I bought them for $25 from TCP. I could not build them for that.

    rear suspension debate..

The 3-link is the type of susepension on a new 2005+ mustang. It has 2 lower control arms that connect from the bottom of the axle housing to the chassis approximatley at the front leaf spring eye. These are usually horizontal and parralel to teh driveshaft lookign down from the top. It has 1...

    rear suspension debate..

Okay i will give my opinion. The best universal is a 3-link. A 3-link is different than a torque arm. An adjustable 3-link will be able to perform on any track and the street. You can adjust the anti-squat and roll center. This would be my choice because I can determine the correct geometry and...

Howes, or any other circle track supply, does not have a bolt on UCA for mustangs that I know of. you would need to build it using the UCA components.

    65 Rear Suspension Questions

My k-model 65 mustang has a 10" wide hoosier drag slick and it fits under the stock sheet metal with no rubbing issues. The k-model springs are 1" lower than a GT. The street tires are 245/60/14, yes 14" magnesium wheels, and they fit just fine.

65-66 CUSTOM MADE FRONT COILOVER SETUP IN PROGRESS

i built the UCA myself using rod ends, clevises, ball joint holders, threaded swedged steel tubes and raw materials. I performed a relocation of the UCA to my desired geometry and used the stock hole spacing a 3.75" i like the CPP LCAs and a TCP UCA if you were going to just buy stuff.

The front mounts are TCP. I hate how heavy they are. I will be changing those to another design that I have come up with. The advantage of the TCP swivels was it got the mock up and build completed much faster while I pondered a better solution for teh k-strut. The strut rod is an afco...

Mostly fabbed everything. The ball joints are afco chrysler style screw ins with the correct taper. I think K727. And threaded ball joint holders. Everything else is materials and fab work. Afco shocks are 3870 T2 double adjustable. Oh and 3/4" chromoly rodends.

That was my dad. Did you see the motor on the engine stand that day you stopped by? its a 319ci SBF with some other work done to it. We are going to do some head work and re-assemble it. It should be ready to put in this summer. Should be worth a few more horsepower.
